Hi. I have a SRAM red etap with hydro discs on a bike. The rear is fine, but on the front brake the calipers seem to stick under hard braking. As in, you come to a sharp hairpin on a steep descent, grab brakes hard, but when you release as you complete the turn, the front brake tends to make noise for several seconds until the calipers finally retract fully. Under lighter braking it does not seem to be an issue.
I tried taking the pads out and grabbing brake lever to get the calipers to mostly come out and cleaning them with alcohol, but it didn't do much to fix the issue. It's not a huge problem, but annoying.
Other ideas on things I could try?

I would generally use Dot fluid to lube those pistons (mineral oil if its shimano) , only use alcohol after its been lubed to clean off the excess. that being said, everyone's brakes rub. if that's any consolation. if it only lasts a second after hard braking i wouldn't be too concerned. we ask a lot out of our hydraulic systems. ETap is no exception, even with its price tag #worthit

Sticking pistons are one diagnosis and should be treated with the brake system's fluid of choice for lubrication, BUT - a sub-par bleed can also cause slow retraction, as the pistons are pulled back into place by both their seals and by capillary action. If there is air behind a piston, it can cause problems besides just fade.
